we are having a fun time enjoying the sights, sounds, and of course fishing these past several weeks. We have had some quality fish and are experiencing good numbers of staging Stripers with plenty of spawning activity already. A beautiful golden eagle has made her home on the upper Roanoke and it’s been pretty cool catching fish under her in the morning. Again the Roanoke is a river system you can explain but honestly you have to experience it for yourself to understand. It’s Special. The multiple year classes of fish we are seeing is very promising from 12-40inches. I had my big bite the other day, I will be seeing that big girl when I lay down in the camper for a few more nights. Thanks to all that have fished with us thus far.
